We are chuffed as drunken monkeys that Karine is around in Edinburgh at the time of our gig at the Queen's Hall (24th Nov), and will come and join us to perform some of the songs from the Evergreen EP. Jul 12 2009 New project for Aidan O'Rourke
Lau's Aidan O'Rourke is to be involved in a new project which will debut at the Edinburgh Jazz Festival on 3rd August 2009. It's the brainchild of sax-genius Phil Bancroft and is called 'Small as the World'. Details can be found at www.smallastheworld.com. Aidan and Phil are long time collaborators (Phil contributing hugely on both Aidan's 'solo' albums, Sirius and An Tobar).

Feb 04 2008 Lau Win Best Group At BBC Folk Awards
Lau are happy to announce that they took the award "Best Group" at the BBC Radio 2 folk awards on Feb 4th. You can watch their live performance from the awards here.
Lau have been working with live visual wizards 25th Century VJs. Some successful shows so far in Edinburgh and Glasgow have made all concerned eager for more. The 25th Century boys will join Lau for three of the Tune Up gigs, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling. Details on gig page.
